Kirksville, MO – Northeast Regional Medical Center was awarded accreditation by HFAP, the nation’s original independent, accreditation program recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Accreditation confirms that Northeast Regional Medical Center is providing high quality care as determined by an independent, external process of evaluation.
“Northeast Regional Medical Center clearly demonstrates a commitment to quality and patient safety,” said Meg Gravesmill, CEO of AAHHS, HFAP’s non-profit parent company. “We base our decision on the findings of an extensive and thorough onsite review of the hospital against recognized national standards for patient safety, quality improvement, and environmental safety. Northeast Regional Medical Center has earned the distinction of HFAP accreditation through its performance in successfully meeting those standards.”
“We are extremely proud to have received our HFAP accreditation,” said Ranee Brayton, CEO, “It requires a team effort from start to finish. Everyone at NRMC is involved in providing compassionate, patient-centered care to our patients every day of the year. This commitment to our patients and our community is clearly shown in this accreditation.”
