Emergencies can happen at any time. That’s why it’s important to be prepared and know where to go when you need medical care - fast. The emergency medicine team at Northeast Regional Medical Center provides care to patients in Kirksville, Missouri, and surrounding areas when they need it most.

The highly trained staff can provide care for everything from cuts and broken bones to life-threatening conditions such as heart attack or stroke. We provide efficient, prompt and compassionate care. Northeast Regional Medical Center is Northeast Missouri’s only Level III Trauma Center and we treat nearly 15,000 patients each year. We specialize in stroke and chest pain intervention and offer a helipad for critical air ambulance transfers.
